The Concept of a Hero!

I felt like writing about a hero today mainly because of the Operatinal Behaviour exam tomorrow. Somehow this subject drives you into the "Pravachan" mode. So kindly bear with me and lets see how this one goes.
Since the beginning of civilization some men  have stood above the others. In some cases it has been due to wealth and in some others it has been due to ability. But among those ,the ones who have had their names written into the pages of history have been the ones who have inspired and hence been masters of millions of hearts.
A Hero has a million definitions and the word means something very different to each individual.
A Superman for the weak, a Batman for the realists and an Iron Man for a few laughs,a Hero has many adaptations.
A hero gives meaning to your ambitions, security to your dreams and most importantly sets before you a benchmark of what you perceive to be an ideal individual.
Hero's sketched overnight don't last long. The reason is simple-the foundations are too weak. This concept like Inception needs time to settle into your mind and heart .
My definition of a hero is someone who has been able to inspire and create an aura of simplicity whilst doing the same. People like Abdul Kalam , Abraham Lincoln ,Roger Federer and yes , Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar have all done just that. Not only have they inspired multiple generations but also have been an epitome of simplicity and classiness.
We draw inspiration from what our heroes have achieved but what do we do next???Switch off and move on to the next entertaining topic. I would like to leave you with this thought- Pause for a second, the second's up but ponder for a second and great things could come to your doorstep. Cheers!!!!
